No one killed Jessica

A well treated movie that revalued the case in a period of 120 mins. However looks like our Rani Mukherjee struggled very hard to make the american slang-diction look cool.F**** word and derogatory remarks and slangs would have added the required hue to the movie if only they were made to appear more natural.Vidya Balan has a golden beard in this movie, and it is so apparent, your mind screams ‘wax your face birdie’,’ dont bleach’ ‘DONT BLEACH’..GAWD!someone give her grooming classes. She maintains herself like a school going kid.I dont think even schoolies bleach.blech the bleaching habits,Vidya, pls for the sake of auidence who watch the close-up on the big screen.Mahesh Bhatt has a tiny role, however when he speaks, his grotesque teeth say’I have been borrowed from a Vampire’.He’s sure has upset the toothy fairy.Rani Mukheerjee has pined and struggled to look the ‘wannabe cool’ trying hard on the American slang’,boy it sounds so abnormally unnatural.Like a village oaf was forced to enunciate in spoken slanglish classes. How many times you teacher-teacher gave you beating to speak like that?Poor Rani, she had to go through all this just to learn proper diction, and get a D grade for diction but A+ for performance.Regardless of these crackbrained flaws, the movie is worth a watch.

A movie based on the book, accidental millionaires. To the nerdy, for the nerdy,by the nerdy.A must for anybody who can even remotely define ambition. Its inspiring to see how a young, intrepid lad from the prestigious Harvard University makes his way to be the worlds youngest millionarie. The conviction, math, logic, vision and reflective tenacity right after the break-up with his girlfriend,to build facebook.A brilliant inspiring movie based on a living  geeky Baron.Justin timberlake does a swell performance has an improtant role to play.Every stage in the birth of Facebook is beautifully depicted.

P.S:Not a movie for someone who sucks on kjo and srk movies. This is a movie is for the fleshlings belonging to the intellectual, academic snobbery. For people who truly understand the value of knowledge and information and the spirit to innovate. Now I know how much I miss my geek-dom.

A break-up can sometimes give you billion-dollor idea.Next time you break-up do not fret.In the West a break-up does not give a DevD ,it produces a Mark Zuckerberg.

An excellent movie for a fun weekend. Not a single dull moment while watching this movie. The cherry on the top is the rude-man of tele-Raghu Ram’s,exceptional performance. The more you hate him on roadies, the more adorable is his performance  in this movie.John’s role of a geeky-jittery books store owner was neat.Looks like he had to put in tremendous efforts to blend-into this role and it shows, finally(sigh). The movie offers  bountiful sarcastic humour and raghu ram’s patented antics, which are surprisingly very enjoyable.Pakhi is a refreshing as a main role.Story is what you will not focus on when the entire romcom is amusing.

There is neither any similarity with anjaana anjaani or friends as people have claimed. However, the suicidal aspect seems to be the common link treated differently in both these movies.Deserves an applause and not critical acclaim as theres no room to critique this movie, unless you like to play the devil’s advocate or dislike John(which is the remotest possiblility). Finally John has arrived and has learnt to act.yeyi!

A fresh romantic comedy which today’s genx and genx’s parents can relate to.What’s the first thought you get when your love or career fails–suiciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide.yehaw.The story of two strangers who try to commit suicide for two different reasons, find sense and comfort in each others company.A story that tells you very simply to live through life and take it as it come.Ranbir Kapoor as usual at his flawless best.like I said in my previous post,he’s one of the true gems of bollywood, more for his performance than his swell looks.Priyanka’s getting better by each movie.Just enough potion of emotion throught out the movie. Finally Bollywood has arrived.A fresh start and a new hope for better movies. If you haven’t watched it yet,you really are missing something–good, meaningful etertainment. You cant judge a few movies by looking at their trailors!and this is one such splendid example.

P.S:Few smart-alecs in the name of movie critiques on ibn and such portals have given terse reviews for this movie. This movie aint so bad to give it 1 rating. This movies is certainly a one time good watch. Its going to take a quite some years till bollywood learns to make a masterpiece like their western hollywood contempraries.I have hollywood fixation and i used review selective bollywood movies, like once in a blue moon. But bollywood has changed its harketeyin, old bad habits and got on to experiment without taking much risk.So they deserve kudos to bring about this slight change in their scripts and movie making. However, the way most of the scripts are treated still requires finesse.

Hey I wrote a similar post Quirky Suicide ages back….Say no to suicide…!!

A family affair plot dealt with suave, panache and acuity.Kajol at her flawless best. Not leaving behind is Kareena’s style statement and Arjun Rampal’s maturity in acting.Looks like people are grown along with movies. However the dragging tear-jerker in the end(the incorrigible cliche of Kjo films doesnt seem to cease).Overall an amazing watch, differently made from the original Stepmother or can say even better. The amazing western touch to the interiors of home, the fashion scene blended in subtly screams that Kjo aged his taste in suave, well globally. The best part is a very few songs. Finally bollywood has grown out of the bolly-music masala mania in their movies.Hope this trend continues.A must watch.Regardless of appearing sporadically in Movies,Kajol does her very best.Kudos to Kajol and the whole team in the making.

Unexpedtedly awesome movie.A must watch for esp for those who are in love with mumbai and mumbaiyya language.Lethal duo.Neil Nitin Mukesh’s flawless performance is commendable along with Deepika’s refined encore.Story is simple yet very entertaining.Looks like everybit of crew involved in the making had a great sense of proportion and adept.Bollywood sans the bromide masala inspite of having a very vernacular elements. With few elements of humour thrown in,its a worthwhile watch. However predictable,is quite interesting and entertaining to watch.’Yeda banne key liye dimag ke ander kida mangtha hai.’Next time around you have this kida in your mind, make sure you keep bagon spray/hit out of reach :P

Despicable Me

A silly movie that wouldn’t tickle the funny bone of an urchin. What a waste of animation and graphics. You want to steal the moon? On which bad afternoon? Fantasy gone bad.Auidence with bare minimum intelligence will certainly find it despicable. It’s not even infantile; it’s just a budge of plain smatter. It’s probably the bittiest level of dilettantish efforts at making a despicable movie. A waste so abstract, it’s hard to define. And to add to my woe my neighboring seats had a couple from Charminar with stereotypical Charminar behavior. A despicable experience, really!
