Buddha ….hoga tera baap

A bollywood attempt by Puri Jagannath.Like most of the Tollywood movies this one has a quirky script with the typical nuances of nuisance comedy, over acting and over emoting esp by Charmy,Raveena and Prakash Raj.Tollywood, pays high importance to portraying women as  gooey, kitschy navie to the point of farcical stupidity. They are the patrons and patented to limning these superfluous traits of women in contrast with their bollywood contemporaries who often depict a smart, urban image of a women. No wonder the rustics down south place senseless importance to ‘innocence’ of a woman instead of the real deal.Naviety that is often marked and embelished to the degree of making it look infantile and poor fish!Purity aint being stupid,if tollywood directors fathom this,i’m sure the actresses will have opportunities to show their skills appropriately.

As for the movie, you put Amitabh into anything and it turns into a pot of gold. The concept of this movie is quirky to take medley of Amitabh antics and design a plot, retaining his classic, legendary capers. Its so entertaining to watch him in an offbeat role carried out with airy suave. If only Tollywood was more polished in its approach towards this movie, avoiding certain gimcrackery such as mentioned aboved would has added a more rigour to certain characters. But then when theres Amitabh in anything,by default and to no fault does he become the centrfugal force of joy and aura spread over the film.A good entertainment regardless of its follies and foibles using the management fundas, and the orthoepic humour of a rustic, you might just feel that the dialouges have been written listening to the collegian speak, coz the language is not too rhetoric as is in most of the movies.A far-out offbeat movie.
