If you have already read the book and want to watch this movie, don’t forget to carry a barf-bag along with you.Esp coz you see and tire nausea of of ancient sacrilegious paganism. It doesn’t challenge your imagination. However for those who haven’t read the book,it could be a delight.I say this because what you imagine while reading through the book is so impeccable and intriguing. You will disappoint your heightened ingenuity coz thats exactly whats missing.Tom hanks, flawless acting however, too bland for the character of Robert Langdon. Background score is predictable to the point of a cliche.Movies made on massive historical treachery or mystery must have incendiary condiment in music and cinematography.
This movie sorries Bernini’s incisive passion that ignites fire even in a person lacking taste in art.The movie is not as provocative as the book shafts on the war between religion and science. The most important element missing is any kind of architectural reference. The book gives details about the style of buildings constructed.Well,as you read through you’d be glad you had an imagination as compared to watching this movie.
